2027 Workspace Show spotlights human-centric offices
Discover how the 2027 Workspace Show in London redefines human-centric office design for wellbeing, inclusion, and emotional connection.

The Workspace Design Show will return to London’s Business Design Centre on 24–25 February 2027 with a new theme: “The Human Experience of Work.” Organizers announced the focus will move beyond functionality to create environments that support wellbeing, inclusion, and emotional connection. This shift acknowledges that modern workplaces must address more than just logistical needs—they must support psychological safety and cultivate a sense of community.
The 2027 edition will examine how offices can build a sense of belonging, improve sensory comfort, and better accommodate neurodiversity. Exhibitors will demonstrate this through installations, product launches, and immersive spaces showing how physical settings shape workplace culture and performance.
Confirmed participants include Brunner, Bisley, König + Neurath, KI Europe, Milliken, and Interface. The event remains the UK’s only dedicated platform for workplace interiors, where architects, designers, and corporate occupiers source products and discuss industry trends.
The show floor will expand in 2027, featuring new product launches and interactive displays. A full content program will run alongside the exhibition, covering trends, sustainability, and strategies for creating high-performing workplaces.
Four conference pillars will return: Workspace Design Talks, Sustainability Talks, Occupiers Forum, and FIS: Interiors Insight Live. Each will address different aspects of workplace design, from strategic planning to material innovation. The Workspace Design Talks will explore the latest trends and insights shaping workplace design, strategy, and culture. Sustainability Talks will bring together key figures driving sustainable thinking and initiatives across workplace design. The Occupiers Forum will provide “The View from HQ,” sharing insights into how employers are creating engaging and high-performing workplace experiences. FIS: Interiors Insight Live will deliver the latest thinking, innovation, and expertise from the finishes and interiors sector.
The Workspace Design Awards will also return, judged by corporate occupiers, developers, and project managers. These awards recognise ideas and projects delivering meaningful real-world impact. Key dates and entry information will be announced soon.
Most workplace design events still emphasize efficiency and cost. The move toward human-centered spaces indicates companies are beginning to view offices as more than places to complete tasks. This evolution reflects a broader cultural shift in how work is perceived, with organizations increasingly prioritizing employee experience as a driver of business success.
The 2027 theme reflects a post-pandemic reality: employees now expect more from physical workspaces. Remote work proved productivity doesn’t depend on an office, so companies must offer something better—spaces that encourage collaboration, creativity, and mental health.
Exhibitors will present solutions for acoustics, lighting, flexible layouts, and inclusive design. The aim goes beyond appearance; it’s about creating environments that reduce stress, support different work styles, and make people want to return in person.
The Business Design Centre will host the event. Industry leaders expect the conversations to draw the workplace design community back for another year.
Design experts will gather at similar events, including luxury interior design showcases, to explore how physical spaces influence daily experiences.
