A.LONDON, an interior design studio, has revealed two unique residential designs at Chelsea Waterfront, a landmark riverside development located directly on the Thames in Chelsea. As one of a select few design studios chosen for the project, A.LONDON has created two aspirational show apartments that demonstrate the studio’s ability to transform conceptual stories into beautiful, livable spaces.

Tower West: Honoring the Spirit of the ’70s

The first apartment in Tower West draws inspiration from the lively creativity and bold style of 1970s King’s Road. It features layered materials, expressive textures, and a richly curated approach to details. The design narrative reflects the cultural energy and unapologetic glamour of King’s Road during its heyday.

Generous windows frame views of the river and London’s skyline. A.LONDON has positioned living and dining areas to keep the Thames as the centerpiece of the residential experience. The studio also found inspiration in the photography of Slim Aarons, particularly his images of the Italian Riviera and Monte Carlo.

A photograph of Lake Como, positioned above the dining table, influenced the terrace design, which includes iron-framed furniture, burgundy accent tables, and sculptural spiral topiary. In the principal bedroom, images of classic Riva boats inspired a palette of rich timber tones and aqua accents, bringing a sense of sun-soaked European travel into the apartment.

The apartment’s existing finishes, such as wood, chrome, and black marble, were retained and complemented with retro-inspired wallpapers, fabrics, and furnishings. The result is an interior that feels uniquely curated and characterful.

Tower East: A Symphony of Light

The second apartment in Tower East takes a different approach, guided by the natural rhythm of daylight as it moves across the Thames. In the living spaces, the palette is open and airy, with pale blues and warm orange accents that reference early morning light and the glow of a river sunset. As the apartment moves into the bedrooms, tones deepen and create calm, restorative retreats.

Sculptural forms, layered textures, and carefully chosen materials give the interior a refined, contemporary character. Seating and entertaining areas are positioned to frame the sweeping views of the London skyline.

Across both apartments, A.LONDON’s approach reflects the studio’s belief that great show home design should allow prospective buyers to immediately envision living in the space, entertaining, relaxing, and engaging with the city around them.
